Catholic Parish of Taree and Wingham


Taree is located in the beautiful Manning Valley on

the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Located less than 3 hours north of Sydney, the

region covers an area of 3,752 sq km.

The Valley is focussed around Taree, with the towns of

Wingham, Old Bar, Harrington and Hallidays Point major

population centres. We have a population of  

approximately 48,000 residents.

About the Taree Parish

The Taree parish - established in 1872 - encompasses a number of

churches: Our Lady of the Rosary (Taree), St. Patrick's (Cundletown), Our

Lady Star of the Sea (Harrington), St. Therese's (Lansdowne), Our Lady of

Fatima (Old Bar) and Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Wingham).

Our Pastors are Fr. George Anthicadu.
